Biocides
Bio-Protect / Bio-Protect Concentrate
remove water and prevent development of bacteria, fungi and microflora in middle distillates (diesel and home heating fuels) ensuring their quality and performance.

Desalting Demulsifiers

Pour Point Depressants
are typically added to home heating fuel (HEL) in the refinery.
+ Limiting the growth of paraffin crystals at low temperatures
+ Keeping paraffin-hazed heating fuel filterable
The additional application of Pour Point Depressants may be useful in units, which – contrary to DIN 4755 – do not regularly secure a frost-protected storage of heating fuel.
The additon to the heating fuel is only useful before the beginning of a paraffin precipitation.
Those additives are ash-free polymer based, fully soluble in heating oil, and limiting the growth of paraffin crystals.
This way the CFPP of commercial heating oil (HEL) can be lowered against the refinery-side adjusted level.
The Pour Point Depressant has no effect on the beginning of the paraffin precipitation.
